Having endured a life marred by trauma, dysfunction, separation, and abuse, my first three decades were spent in a relentless struggle for survival, leaving me questioning my place in the world and the very purpose of existence. With my heart engulfed in turmoil and a desperate search for elusive peace, it seemed my only option was to conform to the expectations of others. However, it was my 30th birthday and the passing of my mother that unleashed an overwhelming anger towards the universe, or any higher power that may exist, leading me to challenge the reality I'd known.

My rebellion against the status quo marked the beginning of a profound transformation. In the ensuing freefall, my life, my marriage, my role as a parent, my familiar surroundings, my health, and even my mobility all crumbled, leaving me with nothing to cling to. This journey eventually led me to a remote desert, far removed from anything I had ever known, devoid of any safety net. In a moment of despair, I found myself teetering on the precipice, weeping and praying for an end. I realized that I was ill-equipped for the mission I had embarked upon and simply wished for release. That night, I drifted into a slumber with those thoughts, but when I awoke the next morning, it was not just another day – it was a rebirth.

 

In the subsequent three years, I reassembled the fragments of my existence, each piece shaped by a newfound perspective that bore little resemblance to the life I had left behind. My loved ones, witnessing my profound transformation, grew concerned and even contemplated an intervention, fearing that I had lost my sanity. What they failed to grasp was that my apparent descent into madness was, in truth, a profound gift. Now, my mission was to navigate the complexities of this rebirth and share it with the world, liberating the illusion of our character, ego, and trauma. It became my divine prison break, a journey into the kingdom of heaven, where I forged a deep connection with the Great Mystery through love, opening my heart to a new world of possibility.
